Name, age, Website, and a brief bio of yourself
I am Diane, 22, I am from the Ivory Coast (in West Africa) but currently studying in California. I am a blogger at
I like sushi, traveling and colorful stuff

1. What does style mean to you?
Style is being able to express yourself without having to speak.
2. When did you start to develop your personal style?
To be honest, I think having my blog helped a lot, so I would say a couple of years ago. Before that, it’s not that I didn’t have a style, but I just didn’t give any importance to it, I just wore what I thought looked good. When I started my blog though, it allowed me to have another view of myself. One day I can be very feminine, the other day more casual, or tomboy-ish. I can’t even say that I have fully developed my personal style, I think it is still evolving.
3. Favorite Stores?
I love Forever 21 and H&M, I could only shop there. But I also like Zara, and online stores like Gojane, etc.
4. Favorite piece(s) in your closet?
I don’t even think I have a favorite. The reason is that every time I get a new item, it becomes my favorite, until I buy something else haha. But if I should choose right now I would say my neon heels!
5. A must have item. What are you currently looking for?
A good colored blazer is such a must-have for me! Just throw one and it changes your look from casual to a bit more classy and chic, with a pop of color, and that’s what I love about it!
I am currently looking for a yellow one and/or a red one (any tips btw are more than welcomed!)
6. Do you consider yourself trendy?
Well like everybody I am influenced by trend, I don’t know if I would call myself trendy though. I mean, I just wear what I like and what I think looks good on me, if it follows the trends that’s good, but it’s not like I would wear something I don’t like just because it’s trendy.
7. What do you think people are able to take away from your style?
That’s a hard one haha. I think people probably like how fun and colorful my style is because I had many people telling me that. I am always flattered when I have people telling me they got inspired by me or some outfit I posted, it makes me actually thinking that I am doing something positive. What I also try to show is that you don’t have to be skinny to love yourself and fashion. I am definitely not a size 0 haha but I still wear bodycon dresses and skirts, I wear shorts, and most of all I wear bright colors! Just because you’re a little bit bigger shouldn’t stop you from loving yourself and wearing what you like!
8. Style Icons/ Inspirations?
I love Solange Knowles. She is beautiful, has an amazing style and also her hair is just fabulous!
There are however a lot of bloggers that inspire me, like Virgit from or Cyn from to name a few.
9. Any final words to readers about fashion or style in general?
Don’t be afraid to be yourself and wear what you want to wear! There is no rule in fashion, just have fun with it!! And be confident, because if you exude confidence you will inspire others to be confident as well!
