I am just a young man going to school for now. Recently Honorably Discharged from the military, I have moved back home to Virginia from Oklahoma. I've been an Army brat all my life so I know how the military works. I decided to give it a try and it didn't suit me. Figured I'm too  much of an individual for this line of career. So I skipped it and decided to try my luck with schooling. And we shall see where that takes me.

1. What does style mean to you? My style is a visual representation of who I actually am. Different and not quite put together, but still intriguing and refined. I like my style mostly because its a gathering of things I've looked upon from the past people I looked up to, some of the people I look up to now, and looking up to  how I see myself in the future. Can't say that for everyone.

2. When did you start to develop your personal style? I started it a little after high school, when I joined the military. The military involves, unity and set lifestyle. It bored me as proud of it as I am. I needed uniqueness and a splash of color.

3. Favorite Stores? So far some of the favorite places I love to shop at are Express for their color and boldness. Banana Republic is another great store for some high quality material. Some online shops are, and

4. Favorite piece(s) in your closet? One of my favorite piece is the green, black, and red bow tie my best friend gave me when I departed the military. I still have it and always will. Another is my single strap monk shoes. They are classics.

5. A must have item. What are you currently looking for? Currently, something not in my repertoire is a tuxedo. I am without one and of course every well refined gentleman needs a tuxedo. Next on the shopping list if you haven't guessed it yet.

6. Do you consider yourself trendy? Trendy, no I am not. Trend setter, yes I do think so. I don't mean to toot my own horn but a lot of people came my way for advice when I was on base. Some still do and I don't even live there anymore. I kind of feel awesome about it.

7. What do you think people are able to take away from your style? I think they can take away the fact that even on a not so great salary you can look and dress a lot better than what you think.

8.Style Icons/ Inspirations? Some stylish icons that I look up to and the most is Davidson Petit-Frere. Young black male who has started his clothing line and business successfully in New York. He is sponsored by pretty amazing companies already, like Ciroc and P. Diddy( yes I understand P. Diddy is in cahoots with Ciroc.)

9. Any final words to readers about fashion or style in general? Final words to the public? Tricky. Don't want to seem self-righteous, but relax and take your time. Discover yourself and try not to mooch too much. Because without style its just fashion.
