Bio: Edwina Bazile is my name. I'm 26 years old. I'm originally from Haïti but currently residing in Queens, NY. Always on the hunt for something different, fun and creative to do, I decided to become a fashion blogger about six months ago. Because I am a lover of all colorful things, I made it my mission to inspire women (and men) around the world, through blogging, to add a bit of color to their wardrobe and their lives as a whole. More about me and my style can be found on my blog site: www.versicolorcloset.com.

1. First off, I'm in love with your style! Can I ask how did you start to develop it and what inspirations do you pull from?Thank you so much Danielle:-) My style is forever evolving. No matter what I wear, I try to stay true to myself. But now that I started blogging, reviewing my pictures has allowed me to see what works and doesn't on my body so that's helping in developing my style tremendously. It's a learning process but it's fun.
I find inspiration in all my surroundings, from the various colors in nature, to fellow bloggers, fashionistas on the streets, a handful of celebrities and also fashion magazines.

2. Where do you shop? I tend to shop at various small boutiques that carry a limited inventory of stylish items but I also love H&M, Forever 21, Asos, Topshop, Zara and Missguided.

3. What advice do you have to readers looking to start a career in fashion? Although I have a fashion blog, I don't have a career in fashion so I may not be able to speak from experience, but I think hard work, dedication and passion are necessary steps towards reaching one's goals regardless of the chosen career path. In Fashion, as in any field, networking is also key so I suggest making connections, being professional at all times and staying in touch without being too pushy or annoying.

4. What are some of the items that are going to be on your shopping list for the summer? Omg! I am drooling over Tom Ford's over the knee Gladiator sandals this season but the look-for-less version seem to be sold out everywhere. I hope to be able to get my hands on a pair before summer's end.

5. You definitely can rock color! Any tips on diving in and opening up to a bigger color palette? I really love everything colorful and I've always put clothes together without much thought but I can't expect everyone to be able to do the same. I recently stopped at Walmart and had what I thought was a fantastic idea - which can be helpful to someone who's not sure how to mix colors: In the home department, there are color card guides (not sure what they're called) that are meant to be used when deciding which color to pair together when decorating. I grabbed a few and plan to use them for inspiration when deciding what colors complement each other best. Color wheels are also very helpful and can easily be found with a Google image search. Using color block accessories or shoes can be a great way to incorporate colors in your wardrobe. And lastly, I would suggest to just take a risk and experiment. Start out pairing neutral outfits with colorful accessories and go from there, while keeping in mind that less is more.

6. What's your go-to work outfit and how would you switch it up for a night on the town? I am fortunate enough to be working in a pretty laid back environment so I am not required to have business attire on a daily basis. So my go-to outfit for work and any occasion tend to be jeans, a shirt, blazer and heels. On warmer days, jeans are replaced by skirts and dresses but a change of accessories, and a pair of heels can add a glam factor to any work attire for a night look.

7. Finally, what does style mean to you? To me, style means expression. It conveys so much about a person's character, values and personality without any words being spoken. Being a very reserved person, I think my kaleidoscopic style speaks loudly on my behalf.
